MMTS was established in 2016 in response to a demand from businesses and organisations seeking a specialist transcription service in Melbourne and throughout Victoria.

Your event may be a board meeting, large workshop, seminar, presentation, Annual General Meeting, Roundtable event, Commission, Hearing, Conference or series of interviews where a record of the discussion and outcomes is required or desirable to distribute to participants post-event.

That’s where we come in but let’s be clear – we are based in Brisbane – which means we will have to come to you in Melbourne or wherever your event is being held. Yes, that will mean the cost of an air ticket. However, with some careful planning, this cost can be minimised so you will hardly notice it. It can be incorporated into the hourly rate or it can be treated like an expense, just like all the other expenses you will be incurring for others to attend your event.

 

At the end of the day, the cost should be of little consequence, considering the outcome. You will have the benefit of a professional stenographer rather than having your work transcribed from an audio recording or even worse, sent to a typing pool or overseas. We will work one on one with your Event Organiser, Board Chair or Secretary to meet your individual needs. You will have gone to a lot of effort to stage your event so you should be able to wrap it up by providing the most relevant meaningful information from the event which will be accurately and precisely recorded.

At the end of the day, the decision is about whether to incorporate the cost of a flight from Brisbane to Melbourne into the event budget. Considering the outcome you will receive, the decision should be an easy one to make.
